Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry:

  • The prize is an afternoon Champagne tea capsule on the London Eye for the winner and up to 19 guests. And, also any non Design Restaurants members in the party will receive a 3 month online membership to Design Restaurants Club.
  • Complimentary Design Restaurants Club membership of three months is not open to existing Design Restaurants members and can not be used to extend current Design Restaurants memberships.
  • The prize includes full afternoon tea including soft drinks and Champagne and two rotations in the London Eye for up to 20 people. Any extras (outside of the above) must be paid for by the winner on the day.
  • Transport to and from The London Eye is the responsibility of the winner and their guests and is not covered in the prize.
  • The competition closes on Monday 7th April 2014 at 12noon. No entries submitted after this time will be accepted.
  • The prize is subject to availability and a date for the prize will be confirmed in conjunction with the winner and The London Eye event team.
  • Prize must be taken within 12 months of the competition closing date.
  • The competition is not open to employees of Design Restaurants, The London Eye or Rhubarb.
  • To enter, the participant must email claire@designrestaurants.com with subject heading in email 'Dining in the Clouds' along with name and membership number and correctly answer the question: How high is the London Eye? and briefly explain why they would like to win this prize.
  • No cash equivalent will be offered and the prize is not transferable.
  • The winner must not profit from this prize by charging guests or selling tickets and if they are found to be doing so designrestaurants.com reserves the right to cancel the prize.
  • The winner will be chosen at random out of all eligible entries by designrestaurants.com.
  • The judge's decision is final and no negotiation will be entered into.
  • Entrants must be over 18 years old.
  • The competition is open to UK and ROI residents only.
  • Internet access required.
  • No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
  • No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
  • The winners will be contacted via email by 5pm on the Monday 7th April 2014.
  • The winner must email confirmation of prize acceptance within 3 days of the email notification.
If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
